SUMMARY:Talk To The Author - Gene Moran
DESCRIPTION:Local author Gene Moran will be talking about his semi-autobiographical novel 'Running on the Spectrum' which relates the story of Tom Mallalieu\, a teacher working in a North Wales special school\, and his sometimes challenging pupils. Tom soon realises that building a relationship with his students is essential if any teaching or learning is to take place. His own interest in running and his love of Eryri are the vehicle he uses to develop strong bonds with his students\, developing some into remarkable athletes.\nThere is no entry fee for this event and no tickets sold beforehand; it's essentially first come first served\, so come to the venue early to guarantee a seat.
