A bilingual conversation about what is now a little known mass petition in Welsh history – namely the Women’s Petition of 1924. Hundreds of thousands of Welsh women signed a petition gathered by a few prominent ladies in an attempt to encourage the United States of America to join the League of Nations to ensure peace in the aftermath of World War One. Bethan will be speaking about the petition and how efforts are being made to commemorate it in Art and Craft.
