A fun activity for the whole family at the town’s historic Gaol with attendees attempting to break out of the prison which is no small achievement! The Gaol’s very purpose was to keep people locked in until it closed in 1916, and only a very small number of people managed to escape including the renowned Coch Bach y Bala at various times during his career including the last time he escaped before his tragic death. Attendees will be accompanied by Denbighshire Heritage Service staff.
