Pool Park is a large mansion with its adjacent buildings and walled garden around 2 miles from Ruthin towards Clawddnewydd. Built in the 1820s for the Bagot family, it remained in their ownership until the 1920s, when it was briefly owned by Tate and Lyle (the sugar refiners), and then as a wing of the Denbigh Hospital until its closure in the 1990s. Speakers include local historian Arnold Hughes and Denbighshire Conservation Officer Chris Evans, but also Andrew and Louisa Godfrey from Godfrey Group who have purchased the site, and will be showing and outlining their exciting plans.
