The iconic Top Dre / Top of Town event is the centrepiece of Gŵyl Rhuthun Festival. It’s a vibrant, high-energy celebration of Welsh language music, culture and community.
Taking place in the heart of Rhuthun in St Peter’s Square, this much-loved event brings together thousands of people each year for seven hours of continuous live entertainment, running from 1pm to 8pm. Whether you stay for an hour or the whole day, you’ll be part of something special.

What to expect
With two live stages, Top Dre / Top of Town offers a packed and varied programme of performances, showcasing the very best in Welsh language music alongside exciting emerging artists. The atmosphere is lively, welcoming and full of energy, a space where people of all ages come together to enjoy music, connect and celebrate Welsh culture.
Alongside the music, you’ll find:
- A fully stocked bar
- A dedicated children’s and family area at the St Peter’s Church
- A Welsh language area in the gardens at Nantclwyd y Dre

Tickets are available on the gate only:
- Adults: £7
- 11-17 year olds: £3
- Under 11s: Free
